Apple rolled out both iOS 8.1.3 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 patches on the same day, on Tuesday morning.
On the iOS side, Apple has made the required amount of storage smaller, in order to perform software updates. This was an issue plaguing iOS devices with 8GB and 16GB storage where users often have less than 1GB of free space left.
Besides that, there are a few other fixes, namely for a problem with some users unable to enter their Apple ID passwords for Messages and FaceTime, an issue where Spotlight stops displaying app results, and a multitasking gesture feature for iPad that stopped working for some. Over at OS X Yosemite, 10.10.2 delivers fixes for WiFi connectivity issues plus slow web page load times, Spotlight-Mail issues, audio sync problem when using Bluetooth headphones, plus other fixes detailed below. This update also brings Safari version 8.0.3, and adds a new ability to browse iCloud Drive in Time Machine.

OS X 10.10.2 requires 443MB for the iMac, and the size may vary across other Macs. It includes a separate update for Remote Desktop Client 3.8.2.
