MyTeksi, or GrabTaxi as it’s known in the Southeast Asian region, has been expanding at a rapid pace, yet, from time to time, it will throw in a deal you couldn’t resist, especially if you’re already a frequent taxi commuter.
MyTeksi’s ‘Penang March Madness’ promotion runs from March 4th until March 31st, 2015, and you could call for a cab from anywhere in Penang Island with a drop-off point in the same island, for a flat rate of just RM5.
There are no promo codes involved for this offer; you’ll just need to, if you haven’t already, install the MyTeksi app and register for an account. This is only applicable for the ‘Standard Fare’ taxis, and not the ‘Metered Executive’ cabs.

Besides Penang, Johor Bahru (JB) is also getting its own March Madness promotion from MyTeksi. Within JB only, from March 10th to March 31st, 2015, all your rides in the city will get a RM10 discount when you use the code ‘JB10’.
